The Romans called it "Antequera", which means "ancient". Come and discover with us the city that brings together 70% of the historical heritage of the province of Malaga.
We will first visit the DOLMENES OF MENGA AND VIERA, one of the best megalithic complexes in Europe and since 2017 a World Heritage Site.
Next, we will visit the upper city and discover some of its churches (Antequera is known under the name: "the town of the 50 churches"), of all styles and with a great richness in imagery.
We will show you the Portichuelo square, Arco de los Gigantes, viewpoint, Royal Collegiate Church Santa María la Mayor, Roman baths, Postigo de la Estrella, Coso Viejo square where we can visit the Municipal Museum located in the old Nájera palace, San Sebastián church,
etc...We will end up in the vicinity of the bullring where I encourage you to try some migas or the famous "Bienmesabe".
